At Hidden Meadows Farm, we believe the best food shouldn't come from a factory—but it also shouldn't come from a thousand miles away.

Every mile your food travels burns fossil fuels and requires preservatives just to keep it "fresh." We’re changing that. Our harvest doesn’t sit in a shipping container or endure a cross-country journey. By farming right here in our community, we’ve cut out the middleman and the exhaust pipe. From our soil to your table, it’s exactly as nature intended: seasonal, sustainable, and truly fresh

Our Growing Standards

We are committed to total transparency in how we care for our land. While we’ve chosen to remain uncertified, we follow—and often exceed—strict organic practices to ensure our food is as clean as it is delicious.

 

  • Verified Inputs: We only use products approved by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). This means every fertilizer or soil amendment we use has been vetted to meet the highest organic standards.
  • Chemical-Free & Bio-Diverse: We use zero synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or weed killers. Instead, we interplant our crops to let nature do the work.
  • Healing the Land: We grow for more than just a harvest. Our sunflowers, for example, aren't just for beauty; they are hard at work pulling toxins from the soil and providing a sanctuary for local pollinators.
  • Natural Balance: Rather than using harsh poisons, we manage gophers and squirrels through physical barriers and habitat management to keep our crops safe while protecting the local wildlife.

  • U-Pick and Education Days: Throughout the growing season, we open our gates for U-Pick events so you can experience the beauty of the meadows firsthand.
  • Garden Consultations: If you're struggling with your own backyard garden, we offer consultations to share our "farm-tested" secrets on pest control and soil health to help you reach your own garden goals.
